  • That's a good question Mark, and yeah I agree, it would make sense for the screws to be on the bottom when using the Gen-Y Anti-Rattle Clamp for 2-1/2" Hitch Receivers # GY28XR. It'll work either way, but they're on the top mostly for ease of install. The screws on the bottom are just a bit more difficult to maneuver in the install since you won't really be able to see, but by all means if you want the screws on the bottom of the # GY28XR you most certainly can do that.
